An intro paragraph is a crucial part of any essay. It defines the topic or question your essay will address and motivates your position on it.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons. They provide an extra bonus or effect while the equipment in use. They can be bought from vendors or players looted, or gotten as rewards, or made by crafting materials. In addition to offering bonus points Upgrade items also be cosmetically beneficial.

Upgrade components include inscriptions, enhancements, and infusions. They are not accessible to the general public and can only be used on ascended equipment, or certain non-ascended weaponry from the Factions Campaign. You can recover infusions and inscriptions from equipment using an Infusion Extractor Device, or by salvaging with the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or Ascended Salvage Tool.

Unlike other upgrade items Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while still attached to the item that they are upgrading, and can be reused after they are salvaged. These upgrades are the best option to boost weapon and armor quality without spending Dilithium in the sense that they increase the item's chance of receiving a high-quality upgrade by two times.

A component that is upgraded in an item can be replaced by another but it is not able to replace the previous one (except for upgrades to ascended equipment and legendaries). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or greater can have upgrade components added to them. If you upgrade an existing weapon that already has a suffix or prefix upgrade the item will be named as it appears on the game screen (for instance, adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor transforms it into Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can only own up to three upgrade items at once.

Glyphs

Glyphs are an excellent accessory to any item because they offer many unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs can also increase the number of affixes that can be placed on an item, thereby increasing its overall power. These glyphs can be obtained by completing dungeons. Some can even be found in specific World Tier 3 zones. It is important to note that glyphs are only available to characters who have created a dungeon that has the same depth.

To make use of a Glyph you first have to create it using components, and then connect them using anchors. The component will then automatically align to other components or paths within the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph using components, you can make use of a combination of anchors and paths. Then, drag an element close to the highlighted component to lock it in place.

Some glyphs require certain conditions to be fulfilled, such as 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to activate which is sometimes difficult to attain. Certain glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.

Glyphs are available for a wide variety of items, and can be added to all weapons except for weapons belonging to a particular class. Certain glyphs have conditions for instance, having a certain number of dexterity or attack damage in a particular area on the Paragon board.

The Defend Glyph adds the chance to block enemy attacks. It also has 15% chance to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.

There are a few glyphs that can be applied to tools that are limited-use, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs contribute to the Combat Mechanic Achievement.

The most common glyphs in the game are the attack ones that increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. They are especially useful for ranged classes like Warriors and Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph which makes enemies that hit the Hero susceptible to damage.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. After the reroll is completed they are discarded. Reroll tokens are obtained through a variety of ways, including through raids, dungeons and skirmishes.  item upgrades  can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are particularly beneficial in dungeons or trials, as they allow players to reroll rewards at the bottom of the chest.

Recycle points are available for items at level 1. When an item is recycled, it will add a certain amount of points to the gauge for upgrading. This value scales depending on the item's value and rarity. Additionally, the upgraded item won't keep its level when it is rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item goes up depending on the level of the item.

The player may also make use of reroll tokens to reroll an item. However, this will not bring back the item's original stats or levels. This is a great option for those who want to reroll a piece of equipment they don't like but still want to keep in their collection.

There are three types of upgrade tokens in the game: reroll random, and upgrade. Each type has several subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens come in three different levels: enhanced, rare and legendary. Each level requires an item from its respective level to create the new item of the same quality.

To use tokens that reroll choose "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select a type of token. The tokens that are available include Item, Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns and Focus. The Item token can be used to create an Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token will create a brand new weapon from the same faction.

There is also a chance that the item could be upgraded to a different item with an increased level and the same additional stats. This will occur if the item been placed in the Pool that is not droppable, or if it was transferred to it as part of an franchise card.
